Last night Jenn’s brother Josh came in to Colorado from a training session in Austria. It’s good to see him again and fun to hang out.
This afternoon we went and got some lunch at this nice little Chinese place here in Vail…
$7 for a big plate of food is pretty unbeatable here in Vail.
Also on the way back from Boulder the other night there was a really nice sunset so I grabbed a few photos.

So today I’m back down in Boulder with Jen. On Sunday we make a little visit to the hospital for a suspected appendicitis… Long story short every thing is fine which is a relief but I’m down in Boulder just making sure its all okay. Tomorrow I’ll head back up the mountains.
So right now I’m sitting in a Psychology lecture which is really interesting.
Also while I walked home this morning I snapped this photo of a squirrel. And let me tell you it’s real hard to take a photo of one of these guys.

Is there anything more American than baseball and pizza?
Jen told me that there where batting cages close by and I just had to go! I’ve seen it on the movies and it looks pretty cool.
I started out with the “softball slow” where the ball comes at you in a big slow arc.
So after that I was feeling pretty good and wanted to try the “baseball medium” where the ball comes straight at you. And you have to wear a helmet.
I put my token in the machine and then wham a ball comes flying out of the machine at an unbelievable speed. I must say I was scared.
I let one more go by before I had a swing at the next one.
I think I go a good solid hit on about three of them.
Then tonight we went and got some good old fashioned American pizza for dinner. It was this health food type restaurant which was pretty sweet. I should have taken a few more photos.
