This arvo we had the opening ceremony for junior world champs. It was a pretty crazzy experience all the Athletes from all countries where there.
We had the parade through the main street of Wanaka followed by a tradition Maori ceremony and the accepting of permission to enter the Maori land peacefully.

The police closed off a section of the main street for us to walk down, there where people on each side of the road cheering us on and it was pretty amazing having all these people out there for us and all this effort put into the event for the athletes.
